Where Truth and Power Meet Everyday Life
I spent my entire life in church but I didn’t feel like I really understood a lot about God and exactly what He wanted for my life. After spending a lot of time studying the Word, I realized that there is a lot more to what God wants for me than I learned in church. So I started this ministry for anyone interested in learning more about God. I hope this will provide a stronger foundation to help everyone develop a closer, richer relationship with God. I want everyone to experience the fullness of what God wants to do through your life and in your life.
About Me
I have spent over 25 years in ministry working for various churches, large, well-known churches as well as small churches, and I have felt a calling on my life to do something different than what I have seen happening at the American church. Even though I grew up in a Spirit-filled church, I was missing a lot of elements of who God is, understanding the Bible in its entirety, and how to apply the Bible and what I hear from God to my everyday life. When I started really looking at God and His word, that is when the Bible started to make sense, and I started to connect the dots for myself.
When I was working for a large church in Southern California, I decided to enroll in their Bible school and earned a Masters in Practical Theology (MPT) that opened my eyes to there being more to Christianity than just going to church and accepting everything that the pastor told me. Many years later, I still felt like there was more that I had not unlocked about God, so I went back to school and earned my Doctorate in Ministry (DMin) with a focus on Relational Theology. This is where I really started to understand that God is fundamentally relational and that He wants to have a close relationship with me. This revelation stirred something in me and created a desire to tell more people about God so they could see God as so much more than what people see in most churches. This revelation has instilled in me a passion to see God move in my life and in the lives of others in a tangible and experiential way.
I know every one of us has God-given gifts and talents that were put in us for larger purpose, but without the proper teaching and Biblical foundation we will not be able to use those gifts the way God intended. Many churches stop short of teaching people how to fully understand and use our gifts. My desire is to help fill this hole so that God can better develop and utilize the gifts that He personally put inside each of us.
I am married and have two daughters and one cat, Dante. I am also a classically trained musician, worship leader, and I have a passion for Christian music.
